आया था कोई 

 पास बैठा 

थोड़ा बहलाया थोड़ा  सहलाया 

और धीरे से बोला 

एक रास्ता जो कांटों से होते हुए 

पत्थरो से गुज़रते हुए तेरी तरफ 

ले आता हैं मुझे 

एक रास्ता वो जो सीधे चलते हुए 

आसानी से मुझे मेरी मंज़िल पर पहुंचाता हैं

तू ही बता सीधा रास्ता चुनु या फिर तुझे |

  sitting near

coaxed a little coaxed a little

and spoke softly

a path through thorns
