एक ही सुर में एक ही लय में तुम्हें गुनगुना रहा हूं

कभी तुम्हें सोच रहा हूं कभी तुम्हें लिख रहा हूं

बस अपने अंदाज में तुम्हें लिखता जा रहा हूं

ना मेरे पास मतलब हैं 

ना मतलब की हैं बातें

ना लफ़्ज़ों का तलफ़्फ़ुज़ सही हैं 

बस मजबूत हैं ये इश्क़ की बुनियादें

बेवजह कहूं या बस यूं कहूं ख़ामख़ा तुम्हें लिखता जा रहा हूं

क्योंकि मुझे डर हैं कहीं ये लब खुल ना जाएं 

या खुलते खुलते रह ना जाएं तो कह नही पाउंगा 

वो सब जो भ्रम में एक मुद्दत से बनाए बैठा हूं!

sometimes thinking of you sometimes writing to you

just writing to you in my own way

no i have meaning

things don't mean anything

Neither the words are correct

These foundations of love are just strong

Should I say without any reason or should I just say like this, I am writing to you

Because I am afraid that these lips may open

Or if you don't go on opening up, I won't be able to say
