हर तरफ अंधेरा हैं,,, मुझे कोई रास्ता तो दिखा दे मौला
ग़म के तूफानों में एक मासूम उम्मीद लगाए हुए बैठा हूं
मेरी इस मासूम उम्मीद को, मायूसी में ना बदलना मौला
इस ज़मी पर तन्हा खड़ा हूं आसमां वाले को देख रहा हूं
एक तूही तो मेरा हैं ज़मी वाले तो मुंह मोड़ जाते हैं मौला
मैं अपना सब कुछ लुटा बैठा हूं घिर गया आज़माईश में
इस आज़माईश को मेरा इम्तिहान ना बना देना या मौला
तू सब कुछ सुन रहा हैं,, और मेरे हालात को देख रहा हैं
अब तू ही बता दे मुझे तेरे सिवा कोई नहीं हैं मेरा मौला
तूने मुझे जो नेमतें बख़्शी हैं हर हाल में शुक्रगुजार हूं तेरा
तूने मुझे इस क़ाबिल बना दिया खुद से चल रहा हूं मौला
I am stuck in the midstream, O Lord, guide my boat to the shore.
Darkness surrounds me everywhere… show me a path, O Lord.
Amidst the storms of sorrow, I sit holding onto a fragile hope.
O Lord, do not let this innocent hope of mine turn into despair.
I stand alone on this earth, looking up at the heavens.
You alone are mine; the people of this world turn away, O Lord.
I have lost everything, engulfed by trials.
Do not let these trials become a test for me, O Lord.
You hear everything and see my condition.
Now tell me, there is no one for me except You, O Lord.
The blessings You have granted me, I am grateful for in every circumstance.
You have made me capable, and I walk on my own, O Lord.
