ऐटली की जवान ने मसाला  फिल्म जॉनर की नई परिभाषा गढ़ दी है। वह यह कि यहां  भी  देश के   ज्वलंत मुद्दों को  भले पोएटिक जस्टिस से  मगर खूबसूरती से पूरी फिल्म में कैरी किया जा सकता है। जवान  में उन्होंने इशारा दे दिया है कि इसका पार्ट टू किस टॉपिक पर आ सकता है। साउथ में देखा जाए तो वहां आर्थिक अपराध वाले विषयों पर लगातार फिल्में बन रहीं हैं। 

                                                                                 

ऐट ली ने शाहरुख खान की सितारा हैसियत वाली इमेज का शानदार इस्तेमाल किया है। फिल्म शुरूआत से ही फ्रंटफुट पर खेलती है। पहला हाफ तो किस कदर आगे बीतता है, खबर भी नहीं लगती। शाह रुख ने डबल रोल में जो परफॉरमेंस दी है, उससे साफ है, आगे चलकर वह बॉलीवुड की ओर से रजनीकांत हो सकते हैं

                                                                             

 

विजय सेतुपति ने मोगैंबो और शाकाल जैसे आइकॉनिक विलेन किरदारों की याद दिलाई है। । नयनतारा, दीपिका पादुकोण , प्रियमणि, सान्या मल्होत्रा समेत बाकी महिला ब्रिगेड ने भी जमकर एक्शन किया है। फिल्म का एक्शन, बीजीएम, विजुअल्स आला दर्जे के हैं। सेकेंड हाफ में जरूर कुछ देर तक फिल्म की रफ्तार मद्धम होती है, मगर शाह रुख का जब जब विक्रम राठौड़ वाला किरदार पर्दे पर आता है, स्क्रीन की चमक चौगुनी होती रहती है। 

 आज देश के हालात भी ऐसे हैं, जहां सिस्टम की मार से पोएटिक जस्टिस जैसा करने की कुव्वत रखने वाला मसीहा ही दीमक की तरह चाट रहे नागरिकों को इंसाफ और हक दिला सकता है। जवान में शाह रुख खान ने कई मु्द्दों पर अपनी राय रख दी है। मजबूत स्टेटमेंट दिया है। उसूलों पर जहां आंच आए टकराना ज़रूरी है बंदा जिंदा हो तो जिंदा नजर आना जरूरी हो।
