हसरते परवाज़ रोक, हद ए आसमान होने तक

दुनिया चलेगी यूँ ही आदम के इन्सान होने तक 

लिखी है उजाले की कहानीअंधेरे की स्याही से

तौबा करें गुनाहों से सुबह की अज़ान होने तक 

है बेशऊर ज़िंदगी ताउम्र ही ख्र्वाहिशों का मारा

ज़िंदा रहा है कौन,किसी के मेहरबान होने तक 

बदज़ुबान झूठ की अदालत सुन रही है दलीलें

झुकाए सर बैठा है सच,उसके बयान होने तक 

अपनी ही ख़ताओं के सब असीर बताए कौन

जलते ही रहेंगे ये मकां,बस्ती मशान होने तक 

फ़ुर्सत में हूँ आज एक नसीहत भी मेरी सुन ले

उम्र होती है निगाहों को तीरो कमान होने तक 

दिन कोई ढलता नहीं है किसी हादसे के बग़ैर

बदलती है रंगत शाम की,लहू लुहान होने तक

Stop laughing till the sky is the limit

The world will continue like this until Adam becomes a human being.

The story of light is written with the ink of darkness

Abstain from sins till morning prayer

This is a cruel life, all my life is full of desires.

Who is alive till someone's kindness comes to him?

The court of lies is hearing the arguments.

The truth is sitting with its head bowed, until its statement is made.

Who will tell you all the consequences of your own mistakes?

These houses and settlements will continue to burn until they are cremated.

Eyes age until they become arrows and bows.

No day ends without some accident

The color of the evening changes, until it bleeds.
