बस खामोशी से अपने काम को अंजाम देता हैं
उसकी आंखें जब जब मैं देखता हूं तो
बहुत कुछ बयां करती हैं
मैंने कई मर्तबा उतरना चाहा हैं
उसकी आंखों की गहराइयों में
हर बार उसने मुझे टोका
और कहा इन आंखों में उतारोगे तो इनमें डूब जाओगे
मगर कुछ तो हैं जिससे वो पर्दा नहीं उठाना चाहता
मगर उस पर्दे के पीछे कुछ तो ऐसा है जिसने उसे
तोड़ के रख दिया
वो पर्दा उठाएं या ना उठाएं
वो कुछ बताएं या ना बताएं
मगर उसकी आंखें बयां करती हैं
वो मंज़र जो उसने देखा हैं जो उसने साहा हैं
I don’t know which tribe he belongs to,
He simply stays silent and does his work.
Whenever I look into his eyes,
They speak volumes without uttering a word.
Many times, I’ve tried to dive
Into the depths of his eyes,
But each time, he stopped me—
Saying, “If you descend into these eyes, you’ll drown in them.”
There’s something he refuses to unveil,
Something hidden behind that curtain—
Something that has broken him from within.
Whether he lifts that veil or not,
Whether he speaks or stays silent,
His eyes still reveal it all—
The scenes he has witnessed,
And the pain he has endured.
