रमेश को अपने स्कूल के दोस्तों का खाने का आर्डर लेकर परोसते समय बड़ा अटपटा लग रहा था.
उनमे से दो मोबाईल फोन पर व्यस्त थे और दो लैपटाप पर.
रमेश पढ़ाई पुरी नही कर पाया था. और दूसरे शहर में नोकरी करने आ गया था उन्होंने उसे पहचानने का प्रयास भी नही किया. वे खाना खा कर बिल चुका कर चले गये.
रमेश को लगा उन चारों ने शायद उसे पहचाना नहीं या उसकी गरीबी देखकर जानबूझ कर कोशिश नहीं की.
उसने एक गहरी लंबी सांस ली और टेबल साफ करने लगा.
.टिश्यु पेपर उठाकर कचरे मे डलने ही वाला था,
शायद उन्होने उस पे कुछ जोड़-घटाया था.
अचानक उसकी नजर उस पर लिखे हुये शब्दों पर पड़ी.
लिखा था - अबे साले तू हमे खाना खिला रहा था तो तुझे क्या लगा तुझे हम पहचानें नहीं?
अबे 20 साल क्या अगले जनम बाद भी मिलता तो तुझे पहचान लेते.
तुझे टिप देने की हिम्मत हममे नही थी.
हमने पास ही फैक्ट्री के लिये जगह खरीदी है और
आज तेरा इस होटल का आखरी दिन है.
