फटे हाल नहीं हूं मुकम्मल खुश गवार हूं  मैं

तेरा शुक्र अदा नहीं होता कैसे अदा करूं मैं

बहुत नेमतें दी हैं मुझे जिसका मैं हकदार नहीं

एक वक्त का सजदा करके क्यों थक जाता हूं मैं

बेशक महल में नहीं हूं कच्चे मकान मे ज़रूर हूं

लाख शुक्र हैं मौला तेरा फूटपाथ पर नहीं हूं मैं

कच्ची छत हैं मेरी सीमेंट की ख्वाहिश नहीं  हैं

सोचता हूं खुले आसमान के नीचे तो नहीं हूं मैं

ये भी दुआ हैं या रब मुझे ऐसी शोहरत ना देना

शोहरत मिलते ही कहीं मगरुर ना  हो जाऊं मैं

तूने मुझे जिस हाल में रखा बहुत अच्छा रखा हैं

सारी उम्र तेरा एक शुक्र अदा नहीं कर पाऊंगा मैं
