कुछ गीत गज़लें लिखकर एक दिन चला जाऊंगा मैं
अपने वारिस को ये कलाम वसीयत कर जाऊंगा मैं
लफ्ज़ों की शक्ल में बहते हुए जज़्बात लिखे हैं मैंने
आसुओं की स्याही बनाकर पन्नो पे छोड़ जाऊंगा मैं
एक एक में अल्फाज में एक एक तस्वीर छिपा दी हैं
जाते जाते तस्वीरों से एक एक पर्दा हटा जाऊंगा मैं
बहुत दूर हूं बहुत सोच समझकर लिखा हैं ये कलाम
मेरा वारिस पढ़ेगा तो उसकी समझ में आ जाऊंगा मैं
मेरे मर जाने के बाद कभी अचानक मेरी याद आए तो
अपने अल्फाज नामी एक किताब में मिल जाऊंगा मैं
मेरा लिखा हुआ कलाम तुम तन्हाई में बैठकर पढ़ना
तुम पढ़ोगे मुझे तो तुम्हारे होटों पर खिल जाऊंगा मैं
One day I will write some songs and ghazals and go away.
I will bequeath this poem to my heir.
I have written emotions flowing in the form of words.
I will make ink from tears and leave it on the pages.
Each one has hidden a picture in each word.
As I go, I will remove each curtain from the pictures.
I am far away, I have written these words with great thought.
If my heir reads it, he will understand it.
If you ever suddenly remember me after my death
I will be found in a book called my alphabet
You sit in solitude and read my written poem.
If you read me, I will blossom on your lips.
