आज सारी कश्तियां जलाकर आया हूं मैं
उसको उसी के हाल पर छोड़ आया हूं मैं
दूरियां जब दिन ब दिन बढ़ने लगी थी तो
फासलों में और इज़ाफा कर आया हूं मैं
मैंने देखा मिजाज़ बदलते उसका हर -सु
देखकर मिजाज़ उसका लौट आया हूं मैं
मेरे हाथ की लकीरों में लिखा नहीं था वो
मिटाकर सारी लकीरे हाथ धो आया हूं मैं
मुकद्दर में जो लिखा हैं उसको कैसे बदलूं
रब ने लिखा उसकी रज़ा मान आया हूं मैं
इक वो किताब थी आज भी खुली हुई थी
पढ़ने का मन नहीं था बंद कर आया हूं मैं
अब ना कोई मलाल शिकवा ना शिकायत
तोड़कर सारी बंदिशे उसे भुला आया हूं मैं
