हालत से लड़कर कुछ इस तरह टूटने लगे हम
की अब खुद ही में खुद बिखरने लगे हम
वक़्त ने सिखा दिया हैं अब जीने का सलीका
खुद को ही शक़ की निगाहों से देखने लगे हम
एक तजुर्बा ही काफी था टूटने के लिए इस उम्र में
खुद को समझदार कहते या ना समझ कहते हम
हालात के सामने सिर खम कर दूँ ये फितरत में नही
करूं मुक़ाबला हालत से अभी या थोरा ठहर जाए हम
दूर से देखों तो सब कुछ ठीक ठाक सा दिखता हैं
पास से छुओं तो शीशे की तरह बिखर जाए हम |
Fighting with the situation, we started breaking like this
that now we have started disintegrating within ourselves
time has taught me how to live
We started looking at ourselves with suspicion
One experience was enough to break at this age
Do we call ourselves intelligent or do we not understand
It is not in my nature to bow my head in front of the situation.
Should I compete with the situation now or should I stop for a while
From afar everything looks fine
If you touch me closely, we will shatter like glass.
