एक बार पढ़ ले मुझे तो मुज़बानी हूं मैं 

पढ़ते पढ़ते गर छलक गया आसूं तेरा 

तो समझ लेना तेरी आखं का पानी हूं मैं 

ख्वाहिश हैं एक पल ठहर जाओं तुम ज़रा सा 

थोडा सा तुम मुझे सुनकर चले जाना 

ये बज़्म सजाई हैं महज़ तुम्हारे लिए 

कुछ सुनकर कुछ सुनाकर चले जाना 

लम्हों की नही लफ़्ज़ों की सुनामी हूं मैं
