ये आसूं बहुत कीमती हैं इनको ज़ाया मत किजिए
दरख़्त की महज़ शाखें ही तो झुकी हैं टूटी तो नहीं
क्या हुआ फिर से पानी दीजिए और खड़ा कीजिए
हादसों की जद में पला बड़ा हूं मैं मुझे कोई डर नहीं
डर जिनको लगता हैं बेझिझक उनको रोक लिजिए
मैं तो खुद एक साए के पीछे भाग रहा था,तुम सुनाओ
कहानी अपनी लोगों को मगर मेरी मिशाल मत दीजिए
जब जज़्बात मर चुके तो पीछे भागने से क्या फायदा
खुद को बाज़ार में खड़ा करा बोले बोली लगा लिजिए
