कीमती आसूं -- KIMATI AANSU

 

बहुत आंसू बहा लिए तुमने इन्हे अब रोक दीजिए

जो होना था वो हो चुका  उसे  अब  भुला दीजिए

कब तलक हादसों को याद कर करके रोते रहोगे

ये आसूं बहुत कीमती हैं इनको ज़ाया मत किजिए

दरख़्त की महज़ शाखें ही तो झुकी हैं टूटी तो नहीं

क्या हुआ फिर से पानी दीजिए और खड़ा कीजिए

हादसों की जद में पला बड़ा हूं मैं मुझे कोई डर नहीं

डर जिनको लगता हैं बेझिझक उनको रोक लिजिए 

मैं तो खुद एक साए के पीछे भाग रहा था,तुम सुनाओ

कहानी अपनी लोगों को मगर मेरी मिशाल मत दीजिए

जब जज़्बात मर चुके तो पीछे भागने से क्या फायदा

खुद को बाज़ार में खड़ा करा बोले बोली लगा लिजिए

You have shed enough tears, stop them now

What was to happen has happened, forget it now

How long will you keep crying remembering the accidents

These tears are very precious, don't waste them

Only the branches of the tree have bent, they haven't broken

What happened, water them again and make them stand up

I have grown up in the clutches of accidents, I am not afraid

Those who are afraid, stop them without hesitation

I was myself running after a shadow, you tell

Your story to the people, but don't give me as an example

When the emotions are dead, what is the use of running after them

Stand yourself in the market and say, bid
