मेरे गाँव की मिट्टी मुझे अच्छी लगती हैं
इस मिट्टी की खुशबु मुझे अच्छी लगती हैं
शहर के गरीबों का फुटपाथ पर आसरा हैं
मुझे गाँव की गज भर ज़मीन अच्छी लगती हैं
शहर के लोग अदालतों का दरवाज़ा खटखटाते हैं
मुझे तो मेरे गाँव की पंचायत अच्छी लगती हैं
शहर की बड़ी बड़ी मोटर कार से मुझे क्या लेना
मुझे तो मेरे ट्रैक्टर की सवारी अच्छी लगती हैं
मेरे घर के आँगन में जो पेड़ हैं अमरुद का
उस पर बैठे तोता मैना की जोड़ी अच्छी लगती हैं
ये सिमेंट का दलदल (मकान ) मुबारक हो तुम्हे
मुझे तो मेरे गाँव की कच्ची झोपडी अच्छी लगती हैं |

i like my village panchayat
What should I take from the big motor car of the city
i love riding my tractor
The guava tree in the courtyard of my house
