कभी दिन ढलें तो कभी शाम लिखता हैं

हर रोज़ एक नई पहचान लिखता हैं

कभी सुबह तो कभी रात लिखता हैं

ख़ामोशी से सारे जज़्बात लिखता हैं

कभी माज़ी तो कभी वक़्त लिखता हैं

 हुकूमतों के तख्त लिखता हैं 

रूह में समाकर दिल की बात लिखता हैं 

क्या करूं मैं उस पागल का 

वो ऐसे ही लिखता हैं

कभी हसीं तो कभी ख़ामोशी लिखता हैं 

कभी जज़्बा तो कभी कोशिश लिखता हैं

कभी अंधेरा तो कभी रोशनी लिखता हैं

कभी पूरा तो कभी अधूरा लिखता हैं

क्या करूं मैं उस पगाल का

 वो ऐसे ही लिखता हैं |
